How will the company grow in the coming years?
First and foremost we expect a development leading to a production diversification with particular reference to services, since our products are certainly ready. In particular, the pharmaceutical market is changing its strategies even in packaging and we aim at having an active role in the change without undergoing it. For example, as mentioned just above, we are investing a lot in research and development of innovative anti-counterfeiting and track & trace systems and we often propose ourselves to our clients as consultants rather than as mere suppliers. More generally, the strategy of Palladio Zannini looks toward new investments and partnerships to start playing an important role in emerging markets, by following its Pharma clients and through considerable experience in the development of the Serbian site. Since we are already present with a factory, staff expansion seems to be the preferred route for the Eastern European market. For emerging markets experience teaches us that it is more effective to develop through a green field investment or a joint venture with a partner-company rather than through an acquisition, but we do not exclude a priori this possibility. Finally, concerning the domestic market, we do not expect significant growth as we have already reached a more than remarkable expansion level.
