Commitment to sustainability
Sustainable development is a priority for Palladio Zannini, which concretely expresses it in the implementation of Integrated Management Systems for Environment, Health and Safety. “Recently we agreed with the Chart of Principles for Environmental Sustainability and with Global Pact Network promoted by the United Nations – stresses CEO Mauro Marchi – with the dual objective of increasing commitment to Social Responsibility and to ensure sustainable development of our activities. Continuous commitment and achievements in 2012 in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility have allowed us to achieve “Advanced” ranking in the Ecovadis company assessment, level reached only by 2% of the thousands of assessed suppliers. Last May we also achieved by Janssen pharmaceutical company the Sustainability Award and the Golden Supplier Award, annually awarded to suppliers that have stood out for compliance with strict assessment parameters, including: product quality, on-time delivery, level of service and integration, continuous improvement, innovation pro-activity, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, sound financial health. In order to involve and motivate employees and their families on environmental issues this year we held at our establishments the “Days for Sustainability” with the screening of the movie “Home” by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, sponsored by Good Planet Foundation and produced by Luc Besson, released simultaneously in cinemas by 50 countries on June 5th 2009, world environment day “.

Palladio Zannini Industrie Grafiche Cartotecniche S.p.A, , Italian industrial group owned by Marchi family, who in 1946 started the activity of Palladio ICG, today represents one of the most interesting and dynamic realities of the international market for the production of secondary pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging. With 400 employees and a turnover of more than 61 million Euros, Palladio Zannini I.G.C. has five factories (three in Italy, one in Serbia and one in Ireland) in which it produces a complete and diverse range of cartons, leaflets, labels and printed aluminium for blisters.
